Kongs
✔️ Uses little bit of energy remaining energy
✔️ Relaxes/soothes an overexcited/tired dog
✔️ Encourages time alone
Kongs are the closest thing dogs have to a baby pacifier. The best time to provide a puppy or dog with a frozen/stuffed kong is when they're tired from doing physically and mentally stimulating activities. A Kong may provide a challenge to a very young puppy, but it won't do the job of a puzzle or snuffle mat. And so Kongs are most useful when used to help your dog relax when he has little energy left, by licking, gnawing and chewing on it. Have a few stuffed and frozen in your freezer on rotation so you're never caught unprepared. You can freeze your dog's kibble, apple or banana puree and more (double check with your vet.).
Tricky Treat Ball (Small)
✔️ Prevents fast eating
✔️ Burns mental energy while feeding
✔️ Encourages your dog or pup to focus
This was one of my first dog's most favourite toys and the very first that I liked to bring with us wherever we went. You can put their kibble or treats inside and they can spend time pushing and rolling the ball as each piece slowly comes out. This is not meant to act as a chew toy, and because of that it's best to use under your supervision. Should your dog start to ehavily chew it, swap it out for a kong (as it means they're probably feeling tired) or switch to a more physically stimulating game first, before trying again.
Snuffle Mat
✔️ Healthiest alternative to a dog bowl
✔️ Relaxes and overexcited/tired dog's mind
✔️ Slows down eating in an engaging way
This is 100% a must have, regardless of your dog's age, breed or personality. A snuffle mat can easily replace your dog's bowl as a more engaging way for your dog to find his food by snuzzling, and using their mental energy to find each piece. Most are machine washable as well as easy to transport. Make sure to supervise its usage. If your dog starts chewing it or throwing it around, it may be best to switch to a more physically stimulating game at that time, before trying again.
Set of Rope Toys
✔️ Helps burn physical energy
✔️ Strengthens your bond with your dog
✔️ Provides different textures to chew on
Strengthen your bond with your dog by playing tug and pull-like games using these rope toys! Physical games don't encourage aggression, or any unwanted behaviour. These types of games are normal and common for dogs, as they help strengthen your trust and comfort with each other, while ensuring your dog gets to scratch their need to play using their entire body. Games like these only become a problem when puppies or dogs don't know when/how to end and relax. Help them do just that by providing them with a snuffle mat and a frozen Kong once you can tell that they're feeling tired, before they start feeling overtired (which is where they can get more nippy and rough).
Freedom (No-Pull) Harness
✔️ Safer to use for walking than any collar
✔️ Doesn't provide corrections/punishment
✔️ More easily redirects a dog's movements
Likely the best and safest dog-walking tool available. Freedom (No-Pull) Harnesses come with two clips, ad the front one is the one you can rely on to most easily guide your dog to help redirect them when you think they may be pulling. Like with any dog training tool, proper training and doing so in ideal setups is what will ultimately help you find success with these harnesses.

✔️ Helps your dog cool off
✔️ Feeling cool will allow your dog to more easily be able to rest/sleep
Place the cooling mat inside your freezer and bring it out whenver you think your dog might be feeling a bit too warm, especially during summer, and particularly if you have a medium/long haired breed.

There are never too many instances where you can take a moment to re-conect with your dog and share a treat together. This treat in this instance is water and if you have a puppy, you can use this water bottle to keep track of their daily intake, to better prevent unwanted potty training accidents.
