"I brought my 6 year old toy cockapoo to meet Carlos not thinking much could change because of her age. She is shy around new things and dogs (avoid them or growl at them if they came too close for too long). I am so grateful for the work and results Carlos was able to help me achieve! Through positive reinforcement (super important to me), a focus on building our relationship and being attentive to what my dog was telling me through her body language my pup is now more confident around new environments and new dogs. Most first time dog parents, like myself may not have known the needs of dogs beyond just walks, Carlos was understanding and informative; he was able to provide practical and budget friendly options to socialize my pup (E.g. snuffle mats, food puzzles, DIY puzzles and Lil’o’s club). Thanks to Pawblem's easy online appointment scheduler, I was able to book an appointment the very next day and Carlos came to my place promptly on time. Not only did he help my dog overcome his fear of elevators but, also helped me understand my dog's mentality and how best to train him. He was gentle but firm with my dog and took his time with him unlike other trainers who would push for extra sessions once the time is up. He genuinely worked through the session without rushing. He actually helped me by coming to the pet shop to try find a dog backpack to meet my dog's excessive energy needs! "My daughter and I got an 8-week old chihuahua. Super cute, also super intelligent. Between many adds, I found Carlos and his company and decided to go with him. Best decision ever made!! He really doesn't train dogs, he trains people....lol. And really, how can you train an animal if you don't understand him/her. Carlos spent half a day with us, and I can now eat my food on the couch, where ever, without Beia crawling over me, while I'm trying to eat my food.
